Brief Description: Riveted fuselage and fabricated skid bracket
Got back into garage after a couple of very hot & humid days hiding inside. Decide to wait until the cold front passed by and it sure made working outside more bearable.
Finished riveting the plate to the last fuselage frame with AN470 rivets. Cleveland hand squeezer worked like a breeze.
But biggest accomplishment tonight was in fabricating the skid bracket. Followed directions including using the tap set (for my first time) and I am really proud of what I was able to create. Now I'm still not exactly sure where this piece is going and how it is going to work on the RV-12, but that is the mystery of building an airplane one part at a time.
