Brief Description:  Riveted spar and began adding nutplates

Riveted several spacers and other parts to the spar pieces. Had to drill out two nutplates since my rivets were just not set properly. Drilling them out led to some scratches on the spar when the drill slipped so I did some touchup priming - you can see in the second picture where some of the flush rivets are primed.

Am not a fan of the CS4-4 flush/pull rivets. I used the manual puller and all four of them were not flush as some of the metal pulled through the rivet head. Not sure why, but I used a small dremel tool to grind them all flush - seems fine.

Still waiting for replacement aft spar from Vans so I am forced to hop over steps in the manual without it. In fact, since I cannot assemble the full spar, I cannot fit and drill several other items. Will likely begin to prep the various spar ribs until it arrives as I want to keep busy almost every day at this point - weather is not too warm yet so I want to use my garage as much as I can.
