Brief Description: First day building - hinge bracket and spar cap
Satisfying first evening doing some actual building. No mistakes that I can see so far. Made fairly good progress separating some parts, filing, grinding, deburring and drilling. Spencer helped for about half the time and learned a little about deburring, clecoing etc...
Primed the small hinge brackets with the Mar-Hyde self etching primer. Like the grey color but using the cans will likely not be ideal when priming the larger parts.
Got about halfway into match drilling the spar cap to the spar before calling it a night.
All in all, feeling pretty good about the progress made tonight. Three hours is about as much as I'll do on a weeknight to avoid pushing myself too hard which would lead to mistakes. I want to keep my log up nightly so that needs to be built into the schedule
