Saw this technique on American Hot Rod. After all the fiberglass work was laid out and the sanding was completed, you just take a hack saw blade and slowwwwly cut the resin. It is very thin and then sand to a smooth finish after you take the elevators off.
Now to cut the seam. Saw with metal blade. NOT !!!!
