Brief Description:  Roll bar

My canoy to roll bar gap was about 1/8" larger at the top than the sides. I made some shims to go under the roll bar that angled it back enough to make the gap even. I needed this to make the canopy latch work correctly and I am going to be putting a gasket between the roll bar and the canopy frame. An even gap is necessary for this installation.

Anyone that has bolted the roll bar to the frame understands how difficult it is to get the spacer, washer and nut under the longeron ledge. I stacked all of the part on a zip tie and inserted them into the bolt hole. I then pulled most of the zip tie back out, held the parts up against the longeron with one finger, pulled out the zip tie and inserted the bolt. It made it easy.
