Brief Description:  Applied fillet coat of Sika

I applied the fillet coat of Sika today. I removed all of the clamps and spacers..I applied a fillet and used many wooden tongue depressors to smooth it out. It is a little tricky to make it look real nice. Don't try to overwork it. Overall I believe that looks real nice. I will have to make a couple of touch ups later but they are cosmetic. Even with the single application that I applied yesterday the bond was impressive. My canopy sprang back to my original dimensions after I put a 1/2" preload on it yesterday. I did have small primer bleed throughs where my pin striping tape overlapped. I used 1/2" pin striping. I would recommend using 3/8" or ever 1/4" so that the turns could be made without having to use multiple overlaps. Once the Sika is fully cured I will see about polishing off these few small areas. You can see it in the second picture. I still have the outer protective film on the canopy.
