Brief Description:  Working on right gear leg fairing

I friend of mine has built several RV's using a carbon fiber wrapped foam core on the gear legs in leiu of the wood and fiberglass as per the plans. Then instead of fastening the factory supplied fiberglass gear fairing with an hinge I am going to permanently bond the fairing to the carbon fiber wrapped leg. Inside the foam I will embed a 3/8" PECS tubing to run my brake line in. If I ever have to replace the brake line I can remove the wheel assembly and then slide in a new brake line.

The benefit of doing these mods is there is no wood to rot and the gear leg is super strong and solid.
