Today I installed the heater valve. I sent back my original valve so I could install this one. This one allows me to run the heater control cable all on the cockpit side of the firewall. One less penetration.
On the inside side of the firewall I installed two layers of insulation material to seal off the heated air so that I will flow up through the louvers instead of through my fuel pump tunnel.
