Brief Description: Modified fuel pump position on center support
I visited a friend of mine with an RV-6 and I sat in it for a while to check out ergonomices. I am planning to install the fuel pump in that center section with the fuel pumps on one side and the two electrical runs on the other. This would require the center tunnel to have straight side for about 4-5". I realized that this might interfere with the side of my leg. I reconfigured the center section so that the fuel pumps are directly in the center and the wiring harneses will go down either side of the pump assembly. This will allow the side walls of the center tunnel angle in right above the angles on the floor and give me about another 1.5 inches of leg room.
Luckily the rivet spacing accomodated this modification. I added a set of plate nuts to fasten the electrical wiring harness.
