I received the materials to replace the flap pushrods and my pitch autopilot pushrod. All three of them were installed and the pushrod lengths were a little short. They were put on my punch list of items to do and I decided to replace them all today. I measured the existing rods and made the new rods long enough so that if the rod rotated all to one direction that there would be sufficient thread engagement to stay secure. I set my minimum as 2 diameters of the rod for minimum thread engagement. I cut, threaded, painted and installed.
