I installed the flap motor this morning. I adjusted the linkage so that when the flap motor is fully extended the flaps will be at the full down position. After adjustment the flaps would operate from fully closed to 42 degrees down. To achieve this I had to exend the linkage to the flaps too far. Less than half of the threaded portion is in the flap rod F-659. This is unacceptable. I will have to order new F-659A links and make them longer. I am waiting on the delivery of a Ray Allen sensor for the flap position so I will put this project on hold for now.
