Installed the control column today. I ordered a new passenger stick because the one that I had was welded together and would not be removable. I drilled the hole for the bolt and painted it to match the rest of the airplane. The other parts had some scratches on it so I sanded them down and repainted them as well. The elevator and rudder are now coupled up and the controls are smooth as grease with no friction or slop. This took alot of time to get it this point.
My son came home from college and gave me a hand. We climbed in for a photo op.
Tomorrow I will be working on the ailerons push pull tubes.
