I will have to remove all of the control surfaces when I paint the aircraft and I took the time to photograph the two aileron hinges and the control rod connection. I labeled each of the connections to document the hardware that is required to reassemble correctly. I attached a picture of one of the hinges. I will eventually do this for every control surface. This aircraft will be documented thoroughly.
