During the operation of my flaps the top edge was scraping against the bottom side of the upper skin. I looked into bending down the forward curved edge but with the flap fully up the upper skin was being deflected up. I ran a straight edge down the hinge on the wing and it had a slight wave to it. I established a reference line below the wing and bent the hinge until it was parallel to the reference line. The flap now operates freely and there is about 1/16" gap between the two.
