Brief Description: Finished installation of alternator
The alternator was installed earlier to see how it might interfere with other items going on the engine. The nuts were not safetied or the locking plates installed. I also found out back then that I had a alternator belt alignment issue. B&C worked with me and supplied a different bracket. All good now. Torqued the alternator bracket to 150 in-lbs, locked the tabs and installed safety wire. Torqued the alternator pivot bolt to 300 in-lbs and safetied. I had to drill a hole in the bracket to accomodate. Finally I torqued the tension arm bolt to 150 in-lbs, drilled a safety wire hole and installed safety wire.
