Brief Description: Installed crank position sensor
Installing the crank position sensor looked pretty straight forward after reading the instructions. It actually was, but I had to remove and install these parts at least 6 times to get the gap within the 0.030" - 0.050". The crank sensor bracket had to have one of the slots filed slightly to allow it to move vertically. This was necessary to get the same gap settings on both sensors. They are both set at 0.049". Note to others, the alternator bracket will have to be installed and removed every time the large nuts are removed.
After the brackets were installed, the wire leads were secured to the case halves. Two Adel clamps were added to secure the wire. The case bolts were retorqued to 75 in-lbs.
