I installed the fuel senders on the wing tanks today. I cleaned all of the surfaces with laquer thinner. I did not install the cork gaskets as the plans called for. Van's latest recommendation is to use ProSeal and leave about 1/16" thick layer of ProSeal as a gasket. I first installed the outer flange and then installed the fuel sender. After I was complete I checked the resistance between the wink tank and the fuel sender flange. It read 0 ohms. All is good. I will let it set up for a couple of days and then I will pressure test the tanks.
