After finishing the flaps and getting more clecos we focused our attention back to the elevator. The plastic covering on the skins did not peel off cleanly, leaving the adhesive residue behind. We had to remove the skins and use acetone to clean them off. A messy and time consuming job. Once done, the skins were attached to the frame.
