Brief Description:  Hanging the engine!

A lot has gotten done, including all the flight controls, some of the wiring, the fuel system, and hanging the engine. Little things are rapidly moving toward becoming one Big Thing, and airplane!

Today we made the major move of hanging the engine. It wasn't all that hard, and everything seems to line up and fit the way it should. We are finally able to take the weights off the front of the plane and not have the tail want to drop. The engine has a lot of modifications that have to be done before it can go in place, and these were handled easily. We are beginning to wire the entire plane, something that will take some time and skill. Luckily we have an electricain as a mentor.

Today also we had another visitor, this one from Washington. Previously, the furthest visitor was from Florida. We are waiting for someone from Alaska or Hawaii to beat this one! Darrin seemed to fit right in, aided in some tasks, and came away ready to start a project out near Seattle.
