Brief Description:  Finish Shaping Fuselage Exterior

I sanded down the micro that I placed over the screw holes and sanded the high density foam insert that I put in yesterday, I also desided that I wanted to re-shape the taper between F28 and F22. Initially I tapered this over about 7 inches. I increased this to about 9 inches to make the transition a little less severe. I also rounded over the corner of the top longerons to the fuselage sides a little more to help with the layup. I made both these changes after looking at my friend John's project the other day. Once I was happy with that I went over most of the fuselage once more to make sure it was all smooth and symetrical. I started with 40 grit and then went to 100 grit on my long sanding boards. My pilot seat back top was proud of the top longerons for some reason that I have never fully understood. I trimmed the top of the seat back with my Fein tool and used my sanding board to sand it flush to the longerons. I am not sure how the seat back will actually be finished as I am planning a tubular welded roll over structure.
