Brief Description: Marked Up Landing Brake and Cut Step Reinforcement
I traced the outline of the landing brake out on the bottome of the fuselage with a fine tip Sharpie. Before I started I leveled the fuselage laterally and marked a good centerline using my laser level. I also decided to go ahead a proceed with the prep work required for the external step. I cut a section of foam out of the bottom of the fuselage for a wood insert that will provide a stiff core material to react the step loads. I layed out the pocket with a Sharpie and used a regular razor blade to cut out the foam.
