I traced the F22 shape from A2 onto Velum paper and spray glued it to some chipboard. I then cut out the pattern so I could transfer it to both sides symetrically. I made tic marks on the upper longerons at 1 inch intervals. The plan was to blend the shape back 6 inches. I used my DA with 36 grit paper to get most of the meat off, then used my sanding boards to get the final shape. The tics were pretty useful to get the shapes symetrical.
