Brief Description: Fuselage Side Landing Gear Area Layups
Made the two six ply layups on both fuselage sides. I took my poster board pattern and traced it on the back side of some plastic sheeting with a black sharpie. I then layed up the six plys on the plastic. The tracing can be seen easily through the wet plys. After all six were down and sqeegeed out I cut the traced pattern with my pizza cutter. I prepped the foam with slurry and painted pure epoxy on the wood. I then removed one side of the plastic and put the six ply layup in place and worked it down with a squeegee, removed the top plastic and then put peel ply in place. These came out great!
