I set out to start the six ply bid layups. I made a pattern from the drawings on posterboard for cutting the plys. I checked the pattern against the parts and it did not seem quite right! A little investigation revealed that I had made my Center Section Spar spacer to the wrong dimensions! This meant that I had mis located LWX and LWY! CRAP! After much thought I decided they had to come off! I set my router up to cut the wood parts down close to the inner skin. Big mess! I then used a little sanding disk to take the remains all the way down to the skin. If you question how well the wet flox works bonding the wood to the fiberglass, the answer is really well.
