Brief Description:  RH Fuselage Side Lower Longeron and Landing Gear B

I installed my new Freud non-ferrous metal blade in my miter saw and cut down my 4 x 4 inch aluminum angle down to lengths for the fwd and aft landing gear backets. The blade is awesome! A little scary but it made quick work of the 1/4" inch thick angle. Once I had them down to length I put the same blade in my table saw and cut the legs of the angle down to about 2.06" (I have DRO on my saw that is pretty accurate). Now I have the blanks to start working my landing gear attach brackets! Why not just by 2 x 2 angle you ask? Well, the engineer in me new that the 2 x 2 would thin out (radius) at the edges of the angle legs and for some reason I decided I did not like that! Now watch me add back in the radius when I am down or put a chamfer there or something. Crazy for sure! I also had a dream that I would CNC these on my Grizzly mini-mill, except that I have not converted it to CNC yet, I have all the parts, just not the time! If I were to CNC them I would need the larger area for tool clearance. Anyway I will cut them manual probably in half the time! Now I will take the blanks and square them up in the mill, but they are pretty close to net dimensions now. Even the surface finish from the Freud blade is pretty good!
