Fabricated the CS1 for the control system. A mandatory change has all the CS1's used on the hot side of the firewall be changed to steel. I used 4130 bar. These are difficult to thread! Good taper tap and Tap Magic were key here! The CS1 that will be used in the cockpit are 2024-T3. I fabbed these up a little different that the plans, mine have a step on them that is equal diamter to the OD of the tube they will install in.
The CS1A's used for the elevator control rod as similar the CS1's but a little longer. The CS1A's were originally threaded for M3 rod ends (10/32). The CP's had a change to use M4's (1/4/28) through out the control runs making he CS1A and CS1 geometry almost the same.
The CN1's are for the canard bolt installation these end up bonded into the F22 bulkhead. I put a medium knurl on the OD to promote good tooth when bonding.
