Brief Description: CS1 and CS1A Pushrod End Inserts
Turned 2 each CS1 and CS1A pushrod inserts on the lathe (2024T3 material). These will be used on the elevator control in the fuselage. I will be making eight more of these in 4130 steel per the plans update to use steel rods and fittings on all controls aft of the firewall. I actually had the start on all ten of these in aluminum before I caught up with the plans change. Good practice I guess. These are also tapped 1/4-28 for HM4 rod ends per plans updates.
