Practiced with the Oratex practice kit. I made a mock up vertical fin out of 1/2 electrical conduit using a 1/2 bender. It went better but I still need more practice. I cut out the pieces for the elevator and applied glue to them as well as the elevator itself. I wanted to make sure I had enough glue especially on the trailing edge of the elevator so I tried to apply a second coat shortly after the first coat. It was a mistake and the glue clumped up in several spots. I think it would work OK if you allowed twelve hours between coats but live and learn. The instructions do say you can remove uneven glue with heat and pressure but when I practiced it wasnt that easy.Tomorrow I will remove the glue and start over.
