Continued working on rudder pedals. Three of the four bushings that slide into the top of the rudder pedals for the toe brakes went well but I really had a problem with the fourth one. It took a lot of sanding of the inner tube to even get the bushing to turn once inside. Then as soon as I would tighten the bolt it would bind up. This was due to the tube itself being warped from being welded at the top of the rudder pedal. After much sanding I think I finally have it worked out. I also installed the pedal assembly without the toe brakes into the fuselage and once everything was tightened there is very little binding with the entire assembly. I will remove it later and try to get it a little smoother.
