Completed installing the doilies on the bottom of the left wing. I finally figured out that the best way to install the doilies was to turn the iron down and do not use the heat gun at all. I also noticed that the edges of the cut fabric seemed to have a dark appearing edge but I found out that a white sharpie can be used to make the edges of the fabric look a little nicer. Before putting the top fabric on I also made all the holes for the rib stitching in the bottom fabric and made a template that I can use to mark the holes in the top fabric that will line up with the bottom holes.
