Brief Description:  Oratex

Installed the bottom right hand piece of Oratex on the horizontal stabilizer. Used the same method of tacking the edges down with the small iron but used the heat gun to heat the glue and attach the fabric on the rest of the structure. This made things move along much faster which isn't as intimidating once you learn how to work with it a little better. Once it was all in place I used the large iron and went over all the areas that were glued using heat and pressure as recommended by Oratex. I also noticed that when you heat the fabric around the tube you may not get a straight line where the material leaves the tube and is stretched to the other side. What worked for me was to go back over those ares and apply heat with the heat gun and the heating/shrinking while loosening the glue will allow the fabric to form into a more natural line. I have attached a picture of the area in mind with the edges straitened out. I will try to post a before picture when I do the next piece for a better reference.
