Brief Description:

My Oratex fabric was delivered so I set everything up, such as a roller to pull the fabric roll from, and a table to put the parts to be covered on. I was going to start with the elevator but after I started looking at it closely, I decided to smooth all the transistions since one thing Oratex is known for is, that any deformaties under the fabric really show up. I sanded everything, and applied super fill to all the areas such as rib transistions etc. I also filled the area where the elevator goes from the leading edge to the rear stringer as shown in the picture. I will try to sand everything tomorrow. I also refilled some of the thin areas on the tips, where I used Hysol and foam. If I were to do it all over, I would definetly use balsa wood instead of the foam and Hysol that is provided in the kit. I think it would be much faster and stronger than the foam/Hysol, especially since the Oratex requires more heat, which could damage the tips made of the foam/hysol
