Laid out the hinge plates. 1/4" plates plus a 0.016" aluminum sheet and a layer of duct tape to hold it in place for the 7mm spacer called out in the instructions. Rear stabilizer mount had to be further clearanced to allow for the elevator to move smoothly. Drilled and clecoed, not riveted to allow for ease of disassembly when it comes time to rig and attach to airframe. Cut the trim tab rod to length and tested operation of the trim tab servo. The slot had to be lengthened for clearance but after clearance functioned smoothly. Servo not riveted at this point to allow for attaching the wires at a latter point.
