Added seal strip between wing and fuselage. N12BB is cmpoete and ready for weight and balance (W&B). The W&B process included rolling the plne up a short ramp onto three scales and leveling across both longitudinal and lateral axes. Scales were then zeroed with levelling shims in place, and plane rolled back on for final weighing. Since I will likely fly either with or without the wheel fairings, W&B was checked with fairings on and off the plane.
To determine balance, the distance from a reference line (the wing leading edge) to the center of each axle was measured using plumb lines and a level.
Final empty weight with fairings was 758, with an arm of 81 inches. Without fairings the weight was 747 with an arm of 81 inches.
This completes assembly of N12BB. Engine run, carb synch, production acceptance procedures and FAA inspection to come!
