Brief Description: Hinge Drilling & Match Drill with Skin & Spar
The last part to be done was the hinge for the AST. Cut to specified length and used one template to drill the the first hinge then the second.
No reference in the drawing is made to match drilling the completed hinge with the skin and spar. Clecoed and checked with a couple of rivets which did not go in the holes. Decided to match drill after deburring and therefor had to deburr again after the match drill.Match drilled hinge with the skin only and realised the spar should be match drilled together, i.e. they holes of all three the parts must line up as they with be rivetted together. So another match drill excercise was done with yet another deburr excersize. Did this three time instead of once ---- for both AST's as they were done together.
