Made my first attempt at ripping a small strip of Spruce down smaller, using a scroll saw.
Not very successful, using a fence because the blade tends to bend and follow the grain of the wood.
I had more success, marking a long line on the strip and cutting along the line freehand. But my first attempt was salvagable by trimming down in some places, but the offcut wasn't.
