Brief Description:  Planning of the Jig for the Fin Leading Edge Bow.

Planning to use a 1,200mmX900mmX12mm MDF piece as the jig base.

I will screw to this, in one corner, a piece of 9mm MDF, cut to a radius of 25&5/8", through an angle of 90 degrees.

Around the outside of this, I will place a number of 1&1/2" dia.X9mm thick MDF circular cam wedges to hold the 4 laminations of spruce capstrip, 3/8"X3/16", while the glue sets.

The cured glue will be removed from the sides of the lamination.

The leading edge (the inside of the curve) will be suitably radiussed during the fin assembly.

Emailed price and availability enquiry to Falconar Avia for a K112M A-T Wood and Plywood kit.

Also shopped at Bunnings aviation isles for the two MDF panels and some tools.
