Brief Description: Counterballance skin and lead weight
I riveted the counterballence skin to the rudder tip rib. Later I found out that I should have just left that skin off because it gets in the way of squeezing the 1/8" rivets to attach the rib to the spar. Although, fitting the lead weight requries the rivets. I had to file some lead away for two of the rivets.
I drilled out the guide holes to #12 to install the lead weight and dimpled for the screw head. The dimple did expand the hole a bit causing the screw to fit loosely.
I then countersunk the lead to match the dimple. I did not install the lead weight yet and will probably wait unitl I work on the fiberglass to make handling the rudder eaiser.
