Brief Description:  Prop Spinner Gap Plate

After the spinner is installel, there is a large gap aft of the blades that needs to be filled. Van suggests using aluminum which can be shaped to the curvature of the spinner and notched as required for the prop. With a constant speed prop, the gap between this plate and the prop is pretty large to allow the full rnage of movement of the prop without contact with the plate. I used a strap wrench to cycle the prop through the pitch range to measure and then trim the plate as needed.

Once the proper shape was achieved I then had to attach a flange which holds a nut plate for the attachment. This all took quite a bit of time.
