I continued with the ELT installation by mounting the antenna in the new mount. The new system also includes a aural warning that warns if the ELT is activated, which I mounted behind the instrument panel. The ELT control panel also includes a visual light to indicate that the unit is activated, so this panel was installed in place of the old unit. No new holes or wiring needed as Ameri-King made the new unit very easy to install in place of the old unit.
