I had previously done the initial fitting of the wing root fairings when I had temporarily installed the wings while in the home shop. Now I reinstalled these for the final fit. I needed a little more trimming of the aluminum fairing where it meets the fuselage (need about 1/4" for the rubber channel), and had to clean up some of the screw holes to allow for a nice fit for the screw into the nut plates.
I installed the fairing with the rubber channel and checked the final fit.
