With the wings in position there is very little room to work in the space between the fuselage and wing. A complication is that the main fuel line is a straight tube from the fuselage into the wing tank, and to get an exact measurement of the length of this line, the wing has to be in it's final position. However in this position there is not enough room to cut and flare the fuel line. Once I measured the tube's required length, I just slit the wing out of the fuselage a few inches, and allowed the wing to rest on the wooden supports and the lip of the fuselage while I cut and flared the fuel tube. I then slid the wing back into position and the fuel tube fit perfectly into it's attachment on the wing tank.
