I prepared the fuel sensors for installation by bending the float rods and connecting to the fuel sensor. This bending adjusts the float to swing through it's rnage from empty to full when the folat approached the bottom and top skins of the tank. I used a multimeter to ferify the operation of the sensors. I prepped the tank and cover plates by scuffing with scotchbrite pads and cleaning with MEK solvent. Proseal was prepared and applied to the inside ends of each nutplate on the cover plate and fuel sensor fitting. Then I spplied Proseal to the face of the tank around the inspection hole and installed the plate with hex screws, after dipping each screw in sealer. I used the same process to install the fuel sensor onto the inspection plate. I will wait a few days before checking for leaks in the tanks.
