Brief Description: Modified Shape and Fit of the Empennage Fairing
I still couldn't get the fairing to fit properly around the empennage. I decided to make some modifications to the fairing by cutting and reglassing as needed. I applied mold release wax to the aluminum then made cuts in the fairing as needed. I then positioned the fairing into position with clecos and tape, then applies fiberglass to the gaps.
