I installed the pilots seat so that I could set the final position of the rudder peddals. I tied string to the left and right rudder peddal to hold their position while I sat in the seat and checked their position. I wanted full rudder movement, brake application and a comfortable feel. The rudders had previously been set in what I felt would be a good final position and now I wanted to confirm this. Once the pedals "neutral" position was set, I tied off the strings to hold the position. Then I measured the gap between the pedals and the rudder cable. This distance will be filled with the steel attachment brackets.
