I did some shaping of the upper fairings by sanding and trimming. I also added some fiberglass to the areas where the attachment screws will be located. The fit was pretty good but still had some small gaps where it met the fuselage and cowling. I decided to add some filler to get a nice seal, so I used plastic tape on the fuselage to act as a release agent. I then slathered an epoxy and micro balloons mixture to the fairings and screwed them in place and allowed it to dry.
