I finalized the mounting position for the oil cooler. I wanted the cooler as high as possible to gain cooling area above the left rear cylinder fins, while allowing room for the baffel seals at the top of each baffel. I wanted the cooler mounted inboard enough to clear the side baffel, yet not interfere with the engine mount. I decided on the best combination of these constraints, which required some trimming of the oil cooler inboard flange to allow 1/2" space around the engine mount.
I cut out the hole in the mounting plate, rear baffel and doubler plate and spent a lot of time finishing the cutout.
