Brief Description: Installed Map Lights & Panel Support
I installed the two map lights onto the roll bar. I will complete the wiring when I receive more black #22 wire on order. The wiring will run down the center roll support to the top of the instrument panel. There, along with the compass light wiring, through a hole to the dimmer bus.
I also riveted the instrument panel support in place laterally behing the sub-panel. The feeder lines that ran through the firewall to the circuit breaker panel seemed to sag a bit across this 18" gap. these lines are heavy and stiff, and vibration of this line could cause chaffing. This support and a cushioned clamp will hold these lines securely and relieve any stress.
