Finished all 4 spar angle tapers today. Tried the vixen files, too slow. Found that using a hand power planner worked best to removed material down to the cut line and then finished with a belt sander and files.
These tapers take a lot of work and I can see why some don't bother with the taper. It does save a few pounds of weight though.
