Started work on the 4130 spar straps. Need to cut 8ea. 1/8 in. and 8 ea. 1/4 in. straps. Had to straighten out the 3 foot bars because when they cut them in a shear it leaves the material bowed. Bought a new metal cutting blade for my band saw and it lasted exactly 45 seconds cutting the bar stock. Maybe cheap blade?
Used a good 17 tpi blade in my jig saw to cut all the pieces to lenght.
